Founding Governance Stewards
Thought partners, institutional allies, and wisdom-keepers who will help nurture our vision, governance, and organizational health.
We welcome prospective Board Members, Advisory Committee Members, and partners open to exploring fiscal sponsorship or a collaborative funding model.
Founding Circle of Catalytic Stewards
An intimate community of individuals, families, and leaders of public and private foundations who contribute a significant catalytic gift annually for three years.
Stewards meet virtually and regularly in a sanctuary to slow down, engage in spiritual and relational practice, explore meaning, purpose, and moral leadership, and directly shape the Foundation’s strategy and grantmaking.
Gathering 8–12 stewards to begin by January 2027

Individuals and communities who participate through grassroots contributions of any size.
Stewards meet virtually once per month to enter into a sanctuary to slow down, engage in spiritual and relational practice, explore questions of meaning, purpose, and moral leadership, cultivate enduring friendships, and directly shape the strategic vision and grantmaking outcomes of the Foundation.

We gratefully accept founding gifts by Interac e-Transfer. So that your full gift goes to the Foundation’s work, we don’t currently use online giving or crowdfunding platforms, which deduct processing fees from each gift.

The Canadian Sacred Commons Foundation is in its pre-incorporation stage and is not yet a registered charity, so we cannot issue tax receipts for gifts at this time. Every founding gift supports the work of incorporating and establishing the Foundation. If you require a tax receipt, please express this preference by sending us an email and we’ll keep you informed as we incorporate or establish fiscal sponsorship.
